... or at least what you can put in a few sentences about myself.
A 29 year old, who grew up bilingual being born in Germany, but raised in the US, Michigan. From a young age on, my family and I travelled around and moved a fair bit. At the age of seven we moved to Italy for a year and then back to Germany, where I graduated with the highest score that year from my Realschule. Moving back to America, Michigan, at the age of 16, I finished school with the International Baccalaureate and a Cum Laude two years later. Once I graduated, I took the brave step of leaving my parents' home at the age of 18, moving half way across the world to start studying Fashion Design in the UK. Three years of hard work and dedication let me graduate with honors and a portfolio that got into Graduate Fashion Week, and soon after also got me a job in the fashion industry at Triumph. An internationally well known lingerie company, I was working alongside the head designer at that time. I quickly moved up to a Junior Designer position and enjoyed working there for about three years.
It was time for me to move on, and since I have always wanted to do a trip around the world, that's exactly what I did. I packed up my bags and started off. Eight months through Europe before I took off to Southeast Asia, where I stayed for another year. A solo backpacking female, travelling around the world. I started setting up a blog to let you in on some of the amazing adventures and awesome local people I meet.
After my trip of almost two years roaming freely through the world, I came back to Germany and started working at Hohenstein. Representing the 3D Design Research and Development team as a Project Manager. Getting to know the world of 3D Technologies and presenting this knowledge internationally at conferences and fairs was a fun tasks.
